Working in collaboration with the client, a visually appealing and highly functional kitchen island was created. This piece features a natural maple base with stained maple countertops. The centerpiece of the countertop is a removable cutting board. This feature allows the cutting board to be resurfaced easily at a later date. The back of the island provides a social gathering location while tastefully tucking away pantry items. There was no wasted space in this design. The countertops were fabricated to rough dimension by The Tree House in South Burlington who did a fantastic job. BKCW then brought the countertops to final dimension and sprayed them with a durable finish as well as installing the tile backsplash. Could anyone receive a better house warming gift?
